Since 1997, the Jim Sampson team has upheld a strong commitment to maintaining a positive and long-lasting influence in Sydney, NS and outlying areas. Delivering excellent customer service and honest business is only one part of how a dealer integrates itself into the community it serves. In an age of increased competition, it's important for players in our industry to diversify their fronts of appeal. For us at Jim Sampson, the decision to be an engaged and active player in supporting and promoting the health of our community was a no-brainer. Leading by example, our owners, Dan Keough and George MacEachern made a $25,000 donation in support of a planned renovation of the Whitney Pier Youth Club. At Jim Sampson, we recognize the positive influence that organizations like this have on area youth, and we're more than happy to contribute and sustain such initiatives.
For the past five years, our dealership has upheld a commitment to match individual donations (up to $10,000) during the annual Cape Breton Cares Radiothon which raises support for the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation. A healthy community is a happy community and, since our community is the very heart of our business, we've view this ongoing commitment as one of our most important and most valuable.
